Dreams

Do you think that dreams can come true? I'm not talking about your dreams of say flying pigs or living in the past, I'm talking about you future dreams. What do you want to do when you are an adult? I know what I want to do. I want to work with disable kids and their families. Also I would like to work with horses. Those two were easy to combine. Then I decided that I want to change the world. I would have disable kids and able bodied kids in the same stable and same classes some of the time. That way they would learn to respect one another. Also I would teach my faith.
Here are some of the questios that I am asked about my dream...
Why do I want to do this?

Q.1. Why do you want to work with kids with disabilities and horses?
A.1. I know that everyone was made by the same God and is loved equally by him too. So why do we judge people with disabilities like they were aliens from a unknown planet? Know don’t get me wrong. There are PLENTY of people out there in the world that love people equally no matter there color, ability or disability and THANKYOU ALL! I want to be like you guys!

Q.2. Why don’t you go into something like singing?
A.2.
Well, I won’t lie I do have a good voice but I feel like working with disable kids and their families along side horses is what I was called to do here on this earth.

Q.3. Are you a Christian?
A.3.
YES! I believe in the one and only true God and I want to share that with people.

Q.4. Well then why don’t you become a missionary?
A.4.
I will. In a different way than most people think of missionaries. When people think about them they think of people in Africa or other 3rd world countries tired and distressed. But I will share by faith with the people I work with weather its kids and their families or anything else. I want to show Gods love to others!

Q.5. Do you know anyone that is disable?
A.5.
Yes. I know a few. One is a boy named Zack. I don’t quite know his disability but I know that its there. He is sweet and tries hard to fit in. The other ones are brother and sister by adoption. They both have downs syndrome. The eldest, a boy who is 4 or 5 and the other a little one year old girl. Both cute are a button!

Q.6. Have you ever ridden a horse before?
A.6.
YES! And I love it VERY much!

Q.7. How did you find out that you wanted to work with disable kids?
A.7.
Well, I read this book written by Bonnie Bryant who writes the Saddle Club series and it just inspired me. I have read books on almost every kind of mental and a few physical diseases out there. And A LOT of books on horses.

Q.8. Have you had any people that have inspired you too?
A.8.
No. Not really. Although my family is supportive.

Q.9. What else could you want to do if your dream right know wasn’t an option?
A.9.
Sing! Well ok. Most likely NOT singing. I couldn’t do concerts. But I would most likely still work with kids.

Q.10. Last one. How old were you when you got your inspiration?
A.10.
eleven or twelve.

So find out what is your dream and work for it! Dreams do come true if you want them enough!
